Professor Xavier Cuadras appointed Director of Idescat, the Statistical Institute of Catalonia

Xavier Cuadras (UPF and BSE) has been appointed Director of Idescat, the Statistical Institute of Catalonia, by the Generalitat.

The Barcelona School of Economics has been collaborating with Idescat since 2015 to promote the initiative DataResSS (Data for Research in Social Sciences), which makes administrative data from Catalonia available to researchers worldwide.
