BSE Affiliated Professor Manuel García-Santana (CREI, UPF and BSE) has received a grant in the Ramón Areces Foundation's National Competition for Economic Research Grants for his project, "Border Effects, Procurement, and Productivity."

In this project, Professor García-Santana will study the complex interactions between the results of public procurement, economic distortions and decisions by enterprise. He will conduct this research in collaboration with Marta Santamaria, Assistant Professor at the University of Warwick and alumna of the BSE Master's in Economics and the GPEFM PhD Program (UPF and BSE).
