The project “Gender Career Gap and Firm Composition” undertaken by Tatiana Surovtseva and accompanied by Libertad González (UPF and BSE) has obtained a grant from the European Union’s Marie Curie Sklodovska Actions Programme. They will be able to conduct the research at the university for a period of two to three years.
This project will examine the role of gender composition in firms and in occupations, with regard to the professional gap between men and women. With an innovative approach and a European perspective, based on a comparative analysis between countries, they will attempt to ascertain the underlying causes of gender inequalities in the workplace.
