"La Caixa" Foundation supports doctoral fellowships at those institutions which have received the Severo Ochoa Excellence Accreditation.
Fellowship conditions
The fellowships are funded by "La Caixa" Foundation and will provide doctoral students with funding over a 4 year period:
Years 1 and 2:
€ 18,069 yearly, distributed in monthly payments, (scholarship phase), plus € 1,500 yearly for research and academic expenses
Years 3 and 4:
€ 26,700 yearly, distributed in monthly payments, (contract phase), plus € 1,700 yearly for research and academic expenses
For the duration of the fellowship, the candidate must enroll in one of the two PhD programs in Economics within the BSE or in one of the Masters in Research in the PhD track (MRes and IDEA Master in Economics):
- Graduate Program in Economics, Finance and Management (GPEFM)
organized by Universitat Pompeu Fabra jointly with BSE - International Doctorate in Economic Analysis (IDEA)
organized by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona jointly with BSE
